Las Vegas Strip Street Circuit

Las Vegas, USAWIKI

The Las Vegas Strip Circuit represents Formula 1's most ambitious American expansion, a 6.201-kilometer track that runs directly down the iconic Las Vegas Strip past world-famous casinos and hotels. Launched in 2023, this night race takes place at 10 PM local time to capture the city's legendary nightlife atmosphere and maximize global television audiences.

The circuit's unique timing means temperatures can drop below 10°C, creating unusual tire warm-up challenges and low-grip conditions. The long straights between the hotels and casinos facilitate plenty of overtaking, with an overtaking rating of 8/10. Cars blast past the Bellagio fountains, the Venetian, and Caesar's Palace at speeds exceeding 340 km/h.

While initially controversial due to disruption to local residents and early-morning European broadcast times, the 2023 inaugural race delivered genuinely exciting racing that won over skeptics. Charles Leclerc's last-lap pass on Sergio Perez provided a dramatic conclusion to F1's most glamorous new event.
