Autodromo Nazionale di Monza
Autodromo Nazionale di Monza is the "Temple of Speed," a 5.793-kilometer Italian circuit where Formula 1 cars reach their highest velocities of the season. Located in the Royal Park of Monza near Milan, this historic venue has hosted the Italian Grand Prix since 1950 and remains Ferrari's spiritual home, where the Tifosi create the most passionate atmosphere in motorsport.
The track's character is defined by its long straights and chicanes, necessitating the lowest downforce configurations of the year. Cars regularly exceed 350 km/h on the main straight, and the slipstreaming battles through Curva Grande and into the Ascari chicane produce some of F1's most spectacular racing moments.
Monza has delivered unforgettable results: Pierre Gasly's shock maiden victory in 2020, Sebastian Vettel's sole win for Ferrari in 2019 sending the Tifosi into raptures, and the 1971 race that remains the closest finish in F1 history with five cars covered by 0.61 seconds.
