Miami International Autodrome

Miami, USAWIKI

The Miami International Autodrome brought Formula 1 to South Florida in 2022, creating a purpose-built circuit around the Hard Rock Stadium. This 5.412-kilometer track combines long straights with a challenging mix of high-speed corners and a technical chicane section, all set against the glamorous backdrop of Miami's vibrant atmosphere.

The circuit features one of the most dramatic racing environments on the calendar, with a fake marina and beach club adding to the spectacle. Three DRS zones provide ample overtaking opportunities, while the tight Turn 17 chicane often catches drivers out. The hot and humid conditions make tire management crucial.

Max Verstappen won the inaugural race in style, and the circuit has quickly established itself as a fan favorite, combining competitive racing with the entertainment and celebrity presence that F1's American expansion has embraced.
