Bahrain International Circuit

Sakhir, BahrainWIKI

The Bahrain International Circuit made history in 2004 as the first Formula 1 venue in the Middle East, and has since become one of the sport's most action-packed destinations. Located in Sakhir, this 5.412-kilometer desert circuit transformed into an iconic night race in 2014, creating the dramatic "Bahrain Grand Prix under the lights" spectacle that has produced some of F1's finest wheel-to-wheel battles.

With an overtaking rating of 9/10, Bahrain consistently delivers breathtaking racing. The long straights leading into heavy braking zones at Turn 1 and Turn 4 are prime overtaking opportunities, while the rear-limited nature of the track and high tire degradation typically demand a 2-stop strategy.

The circuit has witnessed unforgettable moments including the 2014 "Duel in the Desert" between Hamilton and Rosberg, and most notably Romain Grosjean's miraculous escape from a fiery crash in 2020 that demonstrated modern F1's incredible safety standards.
